theology

#01
Revelation Unto Response
God reveals, we respond.

Worship is always initiated by God. We do not begin worship — we join it. We respond to who God is and what He's done, not based on how we feel.

Isaiah 6 / Romans 12:1 / Psalm 19 / Hebrews 1:1-3
#02
Intentional & Habitual
Worship is a lifestyle and a choice.

Worship isn't just what we do on Sunday — it's the way we live all week. It's both habitual, a lifestyle of abiding, and intentional, a choice to praise in every season.

Psalm 119:164 / Daniel 6:10 / Romans 12:2 / 2 Cor 3:18
#03
Spirit & Truth
Worship is both to God and about God.

We worship to God — He is the audience — and we worship about God, since our lyrics reflect His nature and works. Emotion and theology are married in true worship.

John 4:23-24 / Colossians 3:16 / Psalm 145:1-7

the audition

04

Interview

  1. 1You'll be welcomed and made comfortable — no music talk yet.
  2. 2We'll pray together before anything else.
  3. 3We'll walk through this as a discovery process, together.
  4. 4We'll get to know your story, your walk with God, and your background.
  5. 5If it's clear you're spiritually ready, we move into the musical audition.

Audition

  1. 1We'll set up the coaching relationship up front — feedback is normal here.
  2. 2You'll play or sing through the prepared songs.
  3. 3You'll get honest, kind feedback on what's working and what to grow.
  4. 4We'll talk through clear next steps together.
  5. 5If you're ready, we'll start onboarding you onto the team.
Whatever the outcome, you're leaving as a valued part of this church family — this is about finding where God wants you serving, not just a yes or no on the team.

This audition is for anyone who has applied for worship, been contacted by the team, and reviewed the audition material.
  • We play from chord charts, never scored music — know your part from listening to the recording.
  • Vocalists: you'll sing lead and harmony on your part; if a different key is needed, we'll confirm it day-of.
  • We'll begin in the offices to talk culture, then move into the sanctuary for the audition itself.
